Dies Irae

Flash fiction

Elisa's choice

Hello, all,

I hope your 2015 is going well. Mine is proving to be a great year so far.

In my last post, I mentioned that I had started working on a new story for a call for submissions with the theme of Monsters; the only catch was that these monsters were meant to be real life monsters, like the ones you find on the street, at the pub or in your own home.

Monsters

Hi, all,

Following the final decision from Grey Matter Press about my story “The Next One,” a new call for submissions has been released: Monsters.

They’re not looking for your typical monster (zombies, ghosts, vampires, etc.), they’re looking for the worst type of monster… the real type.

A dose of reality

Hi, all,

The dream for anyone starting his career as a writer is to get published… the ultimate dream is to become a famous writer... but we all must take baby steps.

On Wednesday I received a dose of reality. I got an email from Grey Matter Press where they informed me they wouldn’t be publishing the story I submitted to their Savage Beasts anthology.

Sorry I have not been in touch in a while. I have been wrestling with my web site, tyring to get my blog posts to apper on the mobile version... but the more I tried to figure out what was going on, the more frustrated I became.

A proper intro

Allow me to introduce myself:

I am a mild-mannered IT Professional by day and an aspiring writer in my spare time.

Downtown Toronto is my home, but am lucky to have had the chance to live in Madrid, Guatemala and Ottawa. I have also travelled all over Europe, Costa Rica, Australia and various parts of Canada.
